Because of its higher elevation, Bryce is cooler than the other national parks and carries snow longer into spring. November–March are the coldest, with temperatures peaking in the 30–40☏’s and freezing at night. The hike has an elevation change of around 500 feet into the canyon and then 500 feet back up.
